Hi, I stopped in via "The Barnyard" after I checked to see if Katy is back to blogging yet. It is only January 1st and I already miss her. I will come back and read more of your entries. So far I like what I see. Happy New Year.
Home Depot is trying to recruit me. I had an interview today. When the guy called me, I asked if the position was for the store I was going to in Los Lunas which is twenty five miles away. He said it could be but that managers interview for each other all the time. Okay, so, I get there and it turns out it is a night supervisor position. I looked at the woman and asked her if it was for that store and she was like, didn't they tell you? Tsk... yeah, um, no, they didn't tell me anything. So, she was very nice but it was a total waste of time for both of us and definitely not a good fit. If this is how they hire people... I don't have much faith in how they train and retain them. I have no doubt they have managers working long, long hours. I don't need that crap and can go get a job in some pinche-assed mall store for the same money, call the shots, and work gravy mall hours.
It's all about quality of life, baby! I have way too much experience to start at the bottom of the ladder... Home Depot should know better. The good news is... I didn't bomb their financial accumen test. I was sure I had. I guess my guessing powers are still workin'. lol
I finally decided to stop by because I'm always cracking up at your comments on Nora's space. You are a funny guy. :)
At first I thought you might be kinda kooky 'cause your name kinda scared me but now I get it... you aren't really MalathionMan.... you just played one in a movie. M.. k... ;)
Hi there! Popped in via KM's space. I misread your name, thinking it was marathonman. I think I need to check my prescription on my reading glasses!! :")
Swing by by way of Mocha....I like your sense of humor. Especially the wedding bit of "beads off." I think my hubs and I would have been giggle-snorting right along with you!
i tried looking at the trailer for your "claim to fame" but unfortunately was unable to find the link to watch the trailer...sniff sniff...i was in One-Act Play in high school and i loved it...not sure if thats the same thing.....anyway , ill be back for more...oh yeah...I WILL....
